ANNE LEVINSTEIN
MEDIATOR
Anne Levinstein began her career as a police officer with the City of Kenosha, serving for nearly 20 years in the uniformed patrol division. She specialized in interviews and interrogations, accident reconstruction, and sexual assault investigation.
After her own divorce in 2014, which was resolved through the guidance of a skilled mediator, Anne became interested in assisting others through this process. She completed her mediation training through Gaffigan Mediation and joined C.E.L. & Associates shortly thereafter.
Anne viewed her role in law enforcement as primarily that of a peace maker, with a focus on conflict resolution, and she brings that same perspective into her mediation practice. She believes that common ground can be found when involved parties help to peel back the layers of their “positions” and can identify shared underlying needs and desires. There is often much more overlap than was previously realized.
